Eagles rise above the storms in their environment, elevating to gain a higher and wider perspective. With their keen vision, they can soar with the changing winds to identify their next target up to two miles away. When the time is right, they accelerate up to 150mph to seize their target with precision and speed.
Lions are the undisputed rulers of the jungle, they fear no threats and boldly pursue what is necessary, establishing themselves as the leading voice in their ecosystem and maintaining order in their spheres of influence.

Meet Jacob
After earning a business degree with a finance concentration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in CA, I worked for several years at Amgen, a biopharma company that makes drugs for people with serious illnesses. I have always had a desire to help people and be part of initiatives that change people’s lives for the better. Throughout years of traveling, I noticed the common need for more secure and sustainable food production and restoration to the environment due to pollution and mismanagement of solid waste, and traditional agriculture systems only adding to the problem.
I became a certified Permaculture Design consultant under the Permaculture Research Institute after studying the design system of Permaculture as a sustainable and regenerative agriculture approach at Zaytuna Farm in Australia. I was previously directing research and business development for a renewable energy company to find innovative solutions and develop strategic partnerships in the renewable energy space.
While attending the Dubai Expo 2020 to look for new strategic opportunities, seeing the Food, Energy, and Water exhibits, the themes of Sustainability throughout many of the countries, and the new up and coming start-ups who are discovering technologies and introducing new business models stirred my passion for helping people and changing their lives yet again. This led me to start Eagle & Lion Initiatives to tackle some of these key issues and create long term value to society.
